Mindy Lister
Owner/President
Mindy Lister is proud to be the majority Owner and President of TSA. Her 20 years experience as a legal secretary and paralegal in various states throughout her career, the last of which she proudly worked at the Levin Papantonio law firm in the securities department, has provided our Academy the ability to start this venture from the ground up and to be profitable within the first month of opening! Mindy is married to co-owner Marty. They were high school sweethearts but parted ways when Marty was drafted only to reconnect 17 years later, while Marty was still a bachelor, and married within 6 months. The couple share 4 children, 3 of which Marty has been their father-figure over the last 15 years and all of whom he calls his own, and 1 daughter after marriage. The oldest and only son, Jonathan, is 28 years old and married for 1 year to his high school sweetheart, Emily Hedges Cagle, both of which are Pine Forest HS alumni. Jon played college football as a kicker/punter graduating summa cum laude in 2016 with his degree in business and finance. Jon and his wife live in Maitland. Nicollette, a nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital working in the L&D department, is 23 years old. Before Nikki graduated from Tate High School in 2016 where she was a cheerleader for 3 years, she had already completed a year of college and passed her HESI exam. She received her RN before she was 19, worked on the oncology floor at SHH while completing her classes to receive her BSN before she was 21. Nikki is engaged to be married in January 2022. Gina is 17 years old attending Tate High School and is dual-enrolled at PSC for the second year. Gina maintains a 3.9 GPA, is a 4 year Tate Varsity volleyball player, Captain of her team for 3 years, and is set to graduate in June 2022, with almost 2 years of college credits. Gina only slowed down her dual-enrollment classes so that she could play college volleyball after she graduates. Gina led her team last year to win the County Championship, which PNJ featured her in an article, and she is a PNJ Super Senior for Tate volleyball. Gina has played beach volleyball for the Spiking Vikings since she was 10 years old and for the last 2 years has played on the Gulf Coast High Performance Beach team. Gina is also a Volleyball Instructor at the Academy and plans to coach after graduation. McKenna, the baby sister, is both a cheerleader and volleyball player, because she admired and watched her two older sisters throughout their high school careers. She has cheered for Ransom Middle School for 3 years and serves as a Cheer Captain this year. McKenna has also played on the West Florida Waves Volleyball Club Power teams for the last 2 years after participating in the Grassroots program and attending various camps and clinics. McKenna is a beast on the court and even though she is the second shortest on her team, she plays as an Outside Hitter. McKenna plans to attend Tate High School next year and tryout for the volleyball team.
