Marty Lister

Owner/Baseball Instructor

Marty Lister, a native of Pensacola, graduated from Pensacola High School in 1990 and attended Jeff Davis Community College before being drafted in the 7th Round of the MLB draft in June 1992 as a left-handed pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds. Throughout his professional career, Marty played with the Reds for many years before being traded to the Houston Astros, and finalized his career before retiring with the Arizona Cardinals. Marty has been a pitching coach, Head Baseball Coach, freshman and varsity football coach and boys' weightlifting coach at various local high schools. He earned PNJ Coach of the Year in 2014 after leading the Chiefs in their first appearance in school history to the State final four. Marty has also been an assistant coach and the pitching coach for Pensacola State College. His vast knowledge of sports and top-tier pitching provides our clients with the necessary tools to advance their skills and knowledge to play at the next level. Marty is married to co-owner Mindy and they share 4 children together, Jon, age 28, Nicollette age 23, Gina, age 17, and McKenna, age 13. Marty thoroughly enjoys watching his children at their sporting events, and is probably their toughest critic, although he is super proud of every one of them and their accomplishments in their schooling and sports. Marty is an AVID and possibly one of those crazed Florida State fans. He loves to watch FSU football, baseball, softball and both indoor and beach volleyball. He and Gina attend the NCAA championship games played in Gulf Shores every year together.
